99 REASONS TO STAY
Latest Update: 08/19/2025
At The Chris Banks Foundation, we are not only creating programs — we are actively managing lives, cases, and systems that impact people across the nation. Our current work focuses on three core areas:
1. Case Management & Long-Term Planning
We have already taken on over 100+ individual cases and continue to receive new referrals daily from inpatient treatment centers, sober living facilities, and recovery programs across the United States.
Some of the centers we work with send up to 50 cases a day, which we carefully review, develop plans for, and, when possible, take on as long-term commitments. These plans are not just short-term discharge notes — they are structured, individualized roadmaps that cover housing, employment, mental health, recovery programs, and community integration.
Our mission is to make sure no one is left behind after leaving treatment. Too many people relapse or lose stability due to a lack of ongoing support. We are filling that gap by providing continuity, accountability, and real-world solutions.
2. Building Addiction Programs That Work
We are currently developing evidence-informed curriculums designed to support recovery beyond treatment. Our approach blends:
Education and life skills (financial literacy, communication, conflict resolution, workplace readiness).
Faith and community-based support through partnerships with churches and local nonprofits.
Structured accountability systems, ensuring progress is measurable and sustainable.
Our goal is to create programs that not only address addiction, but also the underlying barriers to long-term stability.
3. Funding Partnerships & Sustainability
To meet the demand for services, we are working closely with:
Nonprofit organizations
Churches and faith-based ministries
Local and national community partners
Private donors and foundations
Funding is critical to continuing this work. Each case requires time, resources, and personalized planning — and the need is rapidly outpacing current funding. We are actively seeking partners who believe in long-term solutions and are ready to invest in building a system that prevents relapse, restores families, and helps individuals live with dignity.
Why This Matters
Every number represents a life. Behind each of the 100+ cases we’ve taken so far is a person with a story, a family, and a future worth fighting for. As referrals continue to grow, so does our responsibility. With the right funding and partnerships, we can expand capacity, strengthen programs, and continue changing lives at scale.
